I’m Daniel Peirce and I create custom images of motorcycles and cars for publication and wall art.
I've been a commercial photographer for 32 years. Today I mostly photograph motorcycles, but I love cars too. Trick Photography is my passion business that I started in 2001, while my day job was head of photography for Tucker Powersports for 24 years.
Trick Photography is dedicated to showcasing machines through images and articles. You’ll find my work in Motorcycle Classics, Cycle World, The Robb Report , Hot Bike, American Iron, Ride Texas and Cruisin’ Times. My photography has been called "pornography for gear heads".
I love a naked engine. The mechanical aspects inspired me to author and illustrate a book, "The Fine Art of the Motorcycle Engine," Veloce Publishing, UK.
I am a motorcycle enthusiast. My regular ride is a customized 1978 Honda CB750, known as the Land Shark.
My latest project is a 1968 SS 250 Sprint that I'm restoring with an Aermacchi 350cc engine. I can't remember why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. It's a work in progress.
